Cómpeta

Cómpeta is situated at only 55 minutes away from Málaga airport and is one of the most beautiful villages of Andalusia. This picturesque village is characterized by the Moorish influences with the winding little streets, whitewashed houses and beautiful church in the center.

The village is situated on the foot of the magnificent mountain regions Tejeda and Almijara, at the Ruta del Sol y Vino (the Sun and Wine trail).
The sweet Málaga wine originates from this region. You can see this in the landscapes, which are covered with vineyards and orchards with olive, almond and other fruit trees. You can enjoy the delicious wines at one of the local restaurants, bars or at one of the lovely terraces.
